Kitten Adoption

It’s important to note that, as our focus is on neo-natal kittens (under 3 weeks of age), all TLK kittens have been with us since a very young age. Sometimes, just hours old.

Most kittens are born in the spring and summer, so TLK’s busy season is from April through September. We operate year round, however, and encourage you to contact us anytime if you are interested in adopting.

A Note About Care & Raising

While kittens are receiving foster care at TLK, they get careful medical attention. By the time of adoption, each kitten has, at least, been given a full physical by veterinarian, tested for feline aids and feline leukemia, given their first (of 3) distemper vaccinations, and been treated for any common intestinal problems. If a kitten is over about 11 weeks old, it will also have received its second vaccination. Older kittens adopted from TLK (i.e., those over about four months old) have also been given their final distemper vaccination, their first rabies vaccination and will have been spayed or neutered.
